Like a glorious phoenix rising from the smoldering heart of the confusingly named Sunshine State, the UQMS Torch will once again blaze into life and surge through Brisbane city in a wave of righteous revelry. This year, Sports Day has leapt back across the Bridge to its ancestral home on campus - the UQ Natural Amphitheater.

Surrounded by a lush forest of desire and a pristine magical lake and its feathered inhabitants, the Amphitheater sets the stage for what promises to be another legendary day of med school antics. With drinks aplenty and over-the-top entertainment, Sports Day 2012 will be one to remember.

1. Appropriate 18+ identification will be required for entry into all of the bars before, at and after Sports Day. Please ensure your ID is acceptable before-hand, as we are unable to provide 18+ proof for members.

2. At the afterparty, no-one will be granted entry to the Regatta should their scrubs be torn, or covered in excessive mud or offensive slogans. If you fall into this category, super-large (novelty sized) scrubs will be available for a charitable donation at the door.

3.The UQMS encourages responsible drinking. Anti-social, dangerous behaviour and thievery will not be tolerated. This includes before and after the main event. Any persons found acting in this way will be evicted from the premises. The Management Committee reserves the right to revoke UQMS membership at their discretion.

Fourth Years.
It has been a long time coming but your final Sports Day is nigh! And of course this means the exclusive right to adorn yourselves with all things pink! Get creative with your magnificent costumes and prepare to reign supreme! Be up and be ready to share some morning glory with Professor Pearn at the 4^th year breakfast – always a sophisticated affair!

Second Years.
MBBSII – Trephine time! And of course Sports Day is the prime time to get ahead on the Snog Chart. After the disappointing efforts of the 2013 crew, the far more attractive class of 2014 has declared a war of love and passion on the rest of the school to see who shall be crowned this year’s King and Queen.

Have you no sense of any decency or shame? Have you been striving for the aesthetics of Zyzz? Do you just love the look and feel of baby oil lathered on your naked body? Or are you just looking for love in amidst a passionate storm of baby oil, grass and limbs?

Play hard to catch or go down willingly – but watch out for the champion UQ Med XV, known for their prowess on the rugby field and confused gender status on Sports Day!
