
The MBBS course is a difficult course to navigate, akin to crossing the Tasman in a row boat without a paddle. Years ago, some bright spark on the UQMS Executive thought that it would be a good idea for second, third and fourth year students to tutor their peers in lower years.
The program has been an enormous success ever since. Give yourself a headstart and jump on the gravy train – it is particularly rewarding. There are dozens of tutors who are willing to give about an hour and a half a week, for free. They'll do it because others did it for them.
Tutorials are conducted in PBL sized groups and difficult topics are teased out at the leisure of students.
