Elections Info Night
Preparing UQMS members for the 2011 Rep & Convenor elections
The UQMS will hold an Elections Info Night this Wednesday night, 2nd February, in preparation for the elections for Academic Representatives and Event Convenors at our upcoming Ordinary General Meeting.
The OGM will be held on Tuesday 1 March. Nominations for the election will open very shortly.
Vice-Presidents Andrew Maurice (Academic) and Pete Neeskens (Social) will outline all the roles up for election this year and their key responsibilities. Secretary Jonathan Bowers will outline the elections timeline and explain the By-Laws governing the elections.
We strongly urge that any member interested in nominating for a position in the election attend the Info Night.

Call for Clinical School Representatives
The Clinical School Representatives are current Year 3 or 4 students appointed to represent their respective clinical school. Eleven representatives will be selected from the eleven clinical schools.
These representatives are crucial and form the key link between the UQMS and that clinical school. The representatives liaise with the Vice-President (Academic), other UQMS officials and their respective Head of Clinical School, academic and administrative staff to discuss issues pertinent to them.
Applications are due by the close of business on the Friday 4 February.
